A few words about who creates these costumes.

Natalia Vasilyeva

I graduated from the institute with a degree in metrology engineer. In 1998 she received a diploma as a designer of outerwear according to the author’s method “LyubAks”. I have been studying historical editing since 2005.

I participate in exhibitions and concerts, I sew historical costumes for actors, musicians, dancers. Since 2001, I have collaborated with the children’s theater of historical costumes, traveled with the theater throughout the Russian Federation and abroad both as a parent and as a costume designer.

In order to better understand the essence of historical costumes, I went to learn to dance.

I have been doing historical dancing since 2006. I studied dance with such masters as Barbara Sparti, Lieven Bart, Eva Kreshlova and Katerina Dolezhalova, Fabio Mollik, Klaus Abromayt.

In the cut of historical costumes, I am guided by the books of Jannet Arnold and the collection from the Victoria and Albert Museum, as well as paintings by Bosch and Brueghel.
